Meet the Team
Kevin CMIOSH, OSHCR
As Director of Gull Rock Events, Kevin delivers event safety solutions at a wide range of music and sports events including London Marathon, Royal Cornwall Show, Bath Rugby, Exeter City Football Club and many music events.
Chris 'Jan' Rendall
Jan served in the Royal Navy for over 30 years. He spent 25 years within the Fire and Crash Rescue department and taught for 15 years at the Royal Navy Fire School. He is a very experienced sports ground Safety Officer.
Steve Smith
Steve has over 20 years of experience as the Director of Coast 2 Coast Security. He leads his security company at events all around the world. He is also a highly experienced event safety officer at music and sports events.
Mike Ward
After a thirty year career in Devon and Cornwall Police and reaching the rank Temporary Superintendent, Mike has worked a crowd manager and safety professional in the events industry for the last 10 years. He has worked at many music and ceremonial events around the world. His specialism is control room management and strategic customer engagement.
Russ Dawe
During a thirty year career in Devon and Cornwall Police, Russ gained valuable experience as a senior leader and strategic planner in his rank of Superintendent. He was at the forefront of the planning and delivery of the G7 World Leaders Conference in Cornwall and leading the policing of Boardmasters music festival. He now brings this experience to a range of music and other public events.
Zoe Tyler
Zoe is formerly Head of Operations at Bath Rugby and currently the National Events Manager at Forestry England.
She is a highly experienced safety officer and strategic events planner at sports and other large scale events.
